10 questions that drive me and possibly most other young Mumma's crazy. 😝

Okay, most of these comments/questions are generally asked by total strangers who approach me at shopping and medical centres.. Ahhhh lets begin with my most FAVOURITE line of all time--
1. "Aren't you a little young to be having children?", --YEP! SURE AM! I GREW UP, MADE SACRIFICES AND ENDURED THE LOVELY PAIN OF LABOUR FOR SOMEONE OTHER THAN MYSELF.☺️
2. "Was it planned?", No. But you don't believe that do you? πŸ€”
3. "You're not with the father. Are you?", Yes, OHHHHH you must be utterly shocked! Common misconception that all young parents are separated! Don't you love stereotypes based on statistics of the majority? πŸ˜“ Some couples don't stay together, but thats fine as long as the child is happy, healthy and safe and has a family to love and care for them! ☺️
4. "Are you getting married now?", I get his a lot! I don't see the point in getting married JUST because I have had a child with my partner. I see marriage as a formal declaration of love and commitment to one another, something that happens naturally, at the right time and doesn't necessarily have to happen immediately after having a child-- like, whats the rush? πŸ‘°πŸΌπŸš«
5. "Did you finish school?", Maybe you're asking out of genuine curiosity, but I say no does that make me a bad parent to you? Hope not! πŸ™ƒ
6. "Do you even know who the dad is?", well now thats just rude, I wasn't exactly inseminated by donor A781294 for crying out loud.. After all, aren't I too young to sign for that? πŸ€”πŸ˜‚
7. "What are you going to do with your life?", I'm going to take care of my child and love the hell out of them! πŸ˜‹
8. "How old are you? How old were you when you had your child?", hmm let me think, i believe I was was 204 months old! πŸ‘§πŸ½
9. "All teen mums/dads leave their kids at home with their parents and go partying every weekend", No mam. Incorrect. But if I and/or my partner choose to go out one night, that is my/his/our right and shouldn't be frowned upon. We all deserve a night out, we all need a break once every while, whether were young or old.πŸš«πŸŽ‰πŸ˜΄
10. "Young parents just bludge off Centrelink and buy things for themselves", Someone posted this on Facebook and BOY did I RAGE! Mate, if only you knew how expensive it is to raise a child. Babies aren't cheap! Im talking a pack of wipes, 2 tins of formula, 8 tins of baby food, 2x bulk packs nappies PER WEEK + you're buying new clothes every 1-2 months.. And if you live in your own place you have rent to pay, other bills, and spending up to $200 on groceries a week and trying to keep at least $50 aside for emergencies. Need I say more? I wish I had money put aside to get my hair and nails done as much as I want to, but I don't. And even if I did, so what? End of story. πŸ’…πŸ½πŸš«πŸ’Έ
