Well it's been a while since I've had the time to blog and update you all on what's been happening in the Talking Realities Young Parent Program!!!
It's been a busy start to the year with training, school presentations, swimming and meetings but it's been great!!!
First of all I would like to give a BIG CONGRATULATIONS to all my young parents who completed the Talking Realities Training, 6 months worth of work done! Passing with flying colours and enthusiastic to tackle the year ahead! I couldn’t be more proud of you!
Secondly, another CONGRATS to all of you who have already enrolled in further study to complete your units. I am amazed by your motivation and inspired by it. Completing this now sets yourself and your family up for the future, keep up the great work girls! You are all an inspiration to other young parents out there!
For those waiting to enrol, keep up the motivation and enthusiasm! I can’t wait to help you on your path to education and training; you are also an inspiration to every young parent out there! Keep it up guys! I know sometimes it seems hard but IT WILL ALL BE WORTH IT in the end!
Presentations in the schools kick-started in March and we hit the ground running! With 9 presentations already completed and plenty more to come!!! The presenting skills you have all demonstrated has been amazing and we have received fantastic feedback from every school. Keep up the great work and I’m looking forward to the schools ahead! I couldn’t do this without any of you!!!!
As for the next enrolment, Karitane’s Talking Realities Young Parent Program is NOW RECRUTING!!!! We are taking applications for our October 2013 start, if you know anybody who is interested and is 24 years or under with a child please let them know!!!!
