Time flies!!!

Wow I can't believe we're halfway through the yet already! Where has the time gone!!!!!

It's been a busy 6months here at TR Headquarters with lots I things happening! We've had swimming, training, school presentations, excursions  and TAFE sign ups! 

Our "mums/parents" have now completed the Talking Realities Training and I could not be more proud of them!!! 5 new graduates!!! I can't wait to get you into some school presentations! Your hard work and motivation is inspiring! Not only did you graduate last week half of you are already enrolled into TAFE to complete your studies! WELL DONE! 

Now it's time to make way for another group of "new" young parents to come through! I'm so excited to be able to provide a safe and flexible environment where young people enjoy learning! Our new training semester starts mid July and I'm so excited to be teaching a whole new group of young parens again!!! 

To my "old mums/parents" lol! I'm so happy that you are all still engaged in our program and I honestly couldn't do this without you!! You make my job that much better and every school presentation interesting & fun! Keep up the AWESOME work! You are all amazing! Not only studying at university and/or tafe  but parenting aswell as school presentations!!! 

Since I last blogged we have had plenty of school presentations! Our presenters are amazing and help teach students about the realities of young parenting in a fun and interactive way! The use of personal stories and examples are always funny and I know that the students are getting a lot out of it! Our feedback has been amazing with lots of students saying they learnt "heaps" in our presentations!!!! 

Last weeks excursion to the museum went off without a hitch and we all had a fun time! It makes it that much better when you see the kids having so much fun! Thank you to all that attended, I hope you enjoyed the day! 

Now that it's winter swimming is off but we have some exciting and interesting seminars coming up such as financial management & budgeting, nutrition & toddler behaviour! I will keep you all posted on times/dates! The new swimming semester is due to start the first Monday in term 4 (October)!
