A Crazy Busy Life !

I finally found some time to blog :) 

I have been extremely busy attending uni full time, it can be extremely difficult at times as I have set work to complete every week and on top of that I have my assignments, some days I feel like quitting but I know that's the easy way out. I need to stay motivated and on top of my uni work so that when I graduate il have a  secure career that i enjoy. 

My daughter lily has been toilet training for the last few months and she doesn't seem to be getting any better as she gets lazy and preoccupied to go go the toilet, it's very frustrating at times however, I need to keep it up and give her lots of praise. 

Lily is really enjoying preschool and is developing more skills everyday. She can count to 20, sing the alphabet, say the days if the week , months of the year and seasons. Lily has also learnt a lot of songs, self help skills and made friends.

We have also been going to swimming lessons where lily has become more confident in the water although she doesn't like to go under the water at all ... But it's great that she has progressed in the last few weeks. The photo is of lily with the swimming instructor.

We also spend time together with horses and ride occasionally. Lily went into the gymkhana sports event recently and received some ribbons. Lily really enjoys caring for and riding horses and I think it is a great interest and skill to have and develop. 

I have presented at four schools this month and have more to come next month. Although i still get nervous, I enjoy presenting and it helps build my confidence and presenting skills which i will need for my teaching career. I really believe this program has benefited me and my daughter in many ways and think that if your a young mum and get the opportunity to be apart of something like this .. take it :)

I have been really busy juggling uni , my home life and presenting at schools sometimes i feel overwhelmed, stressed and have little energy but I wouldn't want it any other way because its little steps closer to a better future :)
