The Fun and Crazy Adventures of a Three Year Old!

So I've been extremely busy as of late and haven't really had a moment to spare in some time!

September and October really are the months of months for me from juggling play dates with new friends for my little princess, to keeping up with my own friends, dancing performances, Birthday parties, sewing projects and beach outings, I'm what you could call a very BUSY young mum during this time frame!

So to begin with September started out as an insanely busy time for us all! My then little miss 2 almost 3 year old daughter had been dancing for some time and her dance principal informed us of a performance that my daughter and her tiny tot class will be involved with! So naturally you invite everyone you know that adores your little one and you take it head on and ensure that your child is ready and raring to go! I managed to get all of the make up supplies that she needed as my dance school has completely different requirements and I own a small amount of make up as I'd prefer eau natural.

After getting my princess ready to go we set off with one set of grandparents in tow to her performance venue. Once arriving I had very little time to work myself out let alone miss C! She was so very clingy and refused to go practice with her class she wouldn't let go of me and kept holding onto my hair as she's realised that if I try to get away while she's latched to my head of hair it hurts me and I'm less likely to put her down... Finally I managed to bribe her out of it and promised her some sort of a treat, and miraculously everything went well after that! Soon enough it was time for her to go out there and dance and dance she did with her closest friend by her side!

They were the cutest performance of the day! I could not believe how proud I was of her being able to get out there without me by her side to perform for the audience watching! It just makes me think "How amazing is their concert going to be!"

We had two play dates with some new friends also! A friend of mine was looking after her sisters and we decided why not let them have a day or two together it was so adorable miss C was dragged around by each of them you could tell she was the novelty of the day!

We made our way to Monkey Mania and the girls had a blast! Which left them extremely tired afterwards thus giving us some time to ourselves where we found that we both had fallen asleep while the girls were napping too! This day was a win win day everyone had a rest and felt refreshed afterwards!

After such an amazing few weeks of some fun things happening reality hit as I have a few friends with birthdays around the end of the month and not only that but Miss C was turning three too! So after juggling birthday party prep for my daughter I began working out how my weekend was going to run as I had FOUR birthday parties over one weekend including my daughter's party!

I had to say no to at least one and I worked on getting myself ready for an insane weekend! So first up was my best Friend's birthday party where I didn't end up sleeping until close to 3am, and then waking up the Sunday morning at 6am to get ready to start organising my little girl's My little Pony party!

Miss C's My Little Pony Party with Rainbow Lollipops and the Princesses Celestia and Luna
But that's only three of the four parties I hear you say, well the fourth was the exact same day as my daughter's party and it was a preschool friend's 4th birthday party and Miss C was invited! So we went to that for an hour and headed back home to start her party!

Pass the Parcel was a hit with this gorgeous little group of friends!
We managed to get everything done with a meltdown or two along the way and after speaking with the preschool friend's mum we've decided we are going to work out different days for our daughters to have parties together next year!

I also managed to miraculously have time to make my little girl's birthday cake as you can see, everyone loved it and I would LOVE to ice this style again for her fourth birthday party!

And with my amazing icing skills came my amazing cake making skills of adding polka dots into the middle of my cake!

So between all of my awesomeness I've been sewing a lot and making some new things I have been making and selling little bunnies and soft toys for everyone as of late and making my new creation the Boomerang Bib!

Last item on the agenda is our wonderful long weekend day out to the beach! We planned it perfectly go out to the beach on Sunday since everyone will be determined to go on the Monday Long Weekend day!

Cutie Pie at the beach!
We had a lovely time enjoying the small and gentle waves at the first beach we found at Bundeena!

We perused the market that was happening at the same time, had a lovely roast chicken and salad sandwich each and got some sun without having to worry about Miss C being too frightened of the waves! It was a perfect day out!

Jumping over waves!
And looking at the time I've just realised I have to head off to pick little Miss C from preschool! So I'll say ciao for now and hopefully I will have some more exciting adventures to blog about soon!
