It's a WRAP!

Well it's a wrap! Talking Realities Young Parent Program has officially wound up for 2012 and what a year it has been!!!! 2012 started as a busy year with swimming, schools and TAFE! Our school presentations were a hit as always with the girls presenting at 19 schools with over 600 students! We received fantastic feedback and are already booked for most of these schools in 2013! CONGRATULATIONS girls! The second part of the year was a little quieter on the presenting front due to the start of our new peer educator training! We recruited 10 young parents (which is a HUGE number) and 7 still remain in the program to date, all of which are intending on completing the TAFE component, keep up the good work girls!

I would like to extend a HUGE thank you to all my lovely young parents who worked alongside me educating and presenting at schools this year - you are all amazing and I couldn't have done it without you!

To all my new mums - fantastic work in class and I cannot wait to get you out to the schools next year to tell your stories - you guys will be fabulous! Just remember to PRACTISE PRACTISE PRACTISE over the break and we will start back on the 16th January!!!!

For those who made it to the Christmas party yesterday it was great to see you & the kiddies one last time before Christmas! Such a great day and so much fun watching the kids tear the place up! I hope they slept well last night :)

2013 brings a new year with new adventures and I cannot wait to share these with you all! Have a fantastic Christmas and New Year and I look forward to working with you all next year.....
