My name is Rebeccah and I am the project officer of Talking Realities Sydney. Our aim with this program is to educate teens/adolescents with the facts of life as a young parent so that they can make informed health decisions. I truly believe that we are making a difference and are helping young people gain an insight to the reality of being a young parent thus giving them information needed to make these life long decisions.

I have some fantastic young mums on board who help me run this program and share their stories to young people as peer educators. I believe the program is successful because students are hearing this information from young parents themselves and can relate more to people closer in age. I couldn't run this program without them and i am forever grateful for their works in this area.
